Chapter 434.
|
|

AN ACT to prohibit the sale of " Deadly Weapons
|
|
 
|
to Minors."
|
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That it shall be unlawful for any
|
|

person or persons within the State of Maryland to

manufacture or to sell, barter or give away the car-
|
|
 
|
tridge toy pistol to any one whomsoever.
|
|
 
|
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That it shall be unlawful
|
|
 
|
for any person, be he or she licensed dealer or not,
|
|
 
|
to sell, barter or give away any firearm whatsoever
|
|
 
|
or other deadly weapons, except shot gun, fowling
|
|
 
|
pieces and rifles, to any person who is a minor under
|
|

violating any of the provisions of this act shall, on

conviction thereof, pay a fine of not less than fifty nor

more than two hundred dollars, together with the

and cost, be committed to jail and confined therein

until such fine and costs are paid, or for the period
|
|
 
|
of sixty days, whichever shall first occur.

SEC. 3. And be it enaeted, That this act shall take

AN ACT to authorize the Commissioners of Tal-

bot county to open water courses through pri-

|
 
|
vate property in said county to secure the

|
 
|
proper drainage of the public roads therein.
|
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
 
|
of Maryland, That whenever any supervisor or con-
|
|
 
|
tractor of the public roads in Talbot county shall
|
|
