AN ACT to add additional sections to article
|
|
|
thirty of the Maryland Code of Public General
|
|
|
Laws, title " Crimes and Punishments," providing
|
|
|
for the punishment for the removal of or the at-
|
|
|
tempt to remove from any graveyard, burial
|
|
|
ground or vault in the State of Maryland any
|
|
|
dead body that may have been buried in such
|
|
|
graveyard, burial ground or vault.

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That every person, his aiders,
|
|
|
abettors and counsellors who shall be convicted of
|
|
|
removing or attempting to remove from any grave-
|
|
|
yard, burial ground or vault in the State of Mary-
|
|
|
land any dead body which shall have been buried
|
|
