year.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act take effect

AN ACT to refund to Ann E. R. Bennett, guar-
|
 
|
|
dian of George N. Bennett, an infant, of Cecil
|
 
|
|
county, certain sums of money erroneously paid
|
 
|
|
into the treasury.
|
 
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
|
bly of Maryland, That the treasurer of the State
|
 
|
|
be and he is hereby authorized and directed, upon
|
 
|
|
the warrant of the comptroller, to pay to Ann E.
|
 
|
|
R. Bennett, guardian of George N. Bennett, an
|
 
|
|
infant of Cecil county, the sum of thirty-seven
|
 
|
|
dollars and seventy-one cents, being the sum paid
|

|
into the treasury by the said Ann E. R. Bennett,
|
 
|
|
guardian as aforesaid, on account of erroneous
|
 
|
|
assessments for State taxes for the years eighteen
|
 
|
|
hundred and seventy-eight, eighteen hundred and
|
 
|
|
seventy-nine, and eighteen hundred and eighty,
|
 
|
|
inclusive of each year, this bill having been recom-
|
 
|
|
mended by the officers of the State Treasury.
|
 
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
