Chapter 408.

 

AN ACT to repeal chapter three hundred and fifty-

 

three of the acts passed at January session,

 

eighteen hundred and sixty-four, entitled " An

 

act to incorporate the President and Commission-

 

ers of the town of Cecilton," and to enact the

 

following in lieu thereof:

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That chapter three hundred and

 

fifty-three of the acts passed at the January session,

the town of Cecilton," be and the same is hereby

 

repealed, and the following is hereby enacted in

 

lieu thereof:

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants

 

of the town of Cecilton, Cecil county, are a cor-

 

poration by the name of President and Commis-

 

sioners of the town of Cecilton, and by that name

sued; may purchase, hold and dispose of real, per-

 

sonal and mixed property for the use and benefit of

 

said town, and may have and use a common seal,

 

which may be altered at pleasure.
