Chapter 38.

AN ACT to repeal chapter 181 of the laws of

Maryland, passed at its January session, eighteen

hundred and seventy-six, entitled " An Act to au-

thorize the County Commissioners of Allegany

county to levy a tax on dogs " in said county,

and all acts amendatory thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That chapter one hundred and

eighty-one of the laws of Maryland, passed at its

January session, eighteen hundred and seventy-six,

entitled " An Act to authorize the County Commis-

sioners of Allegany county to levy a tax on dogs"

in said county, and all acts amendatory thereto, be

Repealed.

and the same are hereby repealed, and the County

Commissioners of Allegany county are hereby au-

thorized and directed to make provision, by levy,

for the payment of all lawful and proper certificates

heretofore issued under the acts hereby repealed,

for sheep killed by dogs.

SEC. 2. This act shall take effect from and after
