Chapter 375.

 

AN ACT to authorize the formation of corpora-

 

tion's for the purpose of manufacturing and

 

supplying hot water or steam for motive power,

 

heating, cooking or other useful applications in

 

the streets and public and private buildings of

 

any city, village or town in this State, under the

 

provisions of the act of eighteen hundred and

 

sixty-eight of the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, chapter four hundred and seventy-one.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That corporations for the purpose

 

of manufacturing, furnishing and selling hot water

 

or steam for motive power, heating, cooking or

 

other useful applications in the streets and public

 

and private buildings of any city, village or town

in this State, may be formed under the general

 

provisions of the act of eighteen hundred and

 

sixty-eight of the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

chapter four hundred and seventy-one; and such

 

corporation shall have the power to lay pipes or

and private buildings of any city, village or town

 

in this State, which may heretofore have been

 

formed in this State under the provisions of said

act of eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter

 

four hundred and seventy-one, under the belief

 

and opinion that the same were authorized by

 

section nineteen of said act of eighteen hundred

 

and sixty-eight, be and the same are hereby
