LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

Chapter 287.

 

A BILL entitled " An Act to provide for the preser-

 

vation of Fish in the Gunpowder river, in the

 

counties of Baltimore and Harford."

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for

 

any person or persons to fish with seines in the

 

waters of the Gunpowder river from the twentieth

 

day of May to the twentieth day of August, and

any person or persons so fishing in said waters

of having violated this law shall pay a fine of not
