at the coining session, the same to be printed on fine,

white paper, with marginal notes, together with any
|

or all other matter not specified herein, that may be
|
 
|
ordered to be printed in English, either by the Senate
|
 
|
or House of Delegates, which copies of Acts and
|
 
|
Resolutions shall be complete and bound; and the
|
 
|
said bids shall be transmitted to said clerk on or
|
 
|
before the time specified therefor in said advertise-
|
 
|
ment, and shall be by him opened and considered
|
 
|
within ten days thereafter, and not before; and he
|

shall then accept the bid of, and award the contract

for such printing to the lowest responsible bidder,

|
who shall, within twenty days of the acceptance of
|
 
|
his said bid, give bond to the State of Maryland,

with two or more sureties, in the penalty of double

the amount of said bid, conditioned for the due,

prompt and faithful compliance of the contract to
|

be entered into upon his said bid; and the said clerk

is to be the judge of the sufficiency of the responsi-

bility of said bidder, and also of his said sureties as

such.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in case the per-
|
 
|
son or persons, whose bid has been so accepted, shall
