Administer

the sheriff shall administer to each of them an oath

and impartially value and assess the sum or sums of

 

money to be paid by the Mayor and City Council of

 

Baltimore for the portion of the said wharf or pier

 

so required by the said corporation, and the said

 

jury shall reduce their inquisition to writing, and

 

shall sign and seal the same, and it shall then be

 

returned by the said sheriff to the clerk of the Cir-

 

cuit Court of Baltimore county, to be filed in his

 

office, and shall, on some early day thereafter to be

 

named by the said court, be confirmed by said court,

 

if no sufficient cause to the contrary be shown, and

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the

 

said Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, so soon

 

as it shall acquire the said portion of the wharf or

 

pier mentioned in the first section of this act, shall
