bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General

 

Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby

Chapter 194.

 

AN ACT to prevent the trespass upon private

 

property in Kent county, in this State, by any

 

person or persons who have been forbidden to do

 

so by a special written notice served tipon him,

 

her or them by the owner or owners of said pri-

 

vate property or by their agents.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That any person or persons who

 

shall enter upon or cross over the private property

 

of any person or persons in Kent county, in this

 

State, after having had a special written notice

 

served upon him, her or them by the owner or own-

 

ers of said property, or by his, her or their agent,

 

not to cross over or enter upon said private property,
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on

conviction thereof before some justice of the peace

 

of said county, be fined by said justice not less than

 

five dollars nor more than twenty dollars, and in

 

default of the payment of said fine, together with

 

the costs of prosecution, shall be by said justice of
