Chapter 193.

 

AN ACT to sanction the bequest, devise or legacy

 

of Florence Patterson Carroll in favor of the

 

Springfield Presbyterian Church, Carroll county,

 

Maryland.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That sanction is hereby given to

 

the bequest, devise or legacy in the last will and

 

testament of Florence Patterson Carroll, late of

Sanction given

Baltimore city, deceased, now on record at the

 

office of the Register of Wills of Baltimore city,

 

Liber J. H. B., No. 44, folio 589, et cetera, in

 

possession of the Register of Wills of Baltimore

 

city, which is in favor of the Springfield Presby-

 

terian Church, Carroll county, Maryland.

 

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take

beth Catharine Erb, late of Carroll county, de-

 

ceased, to the vestry of St. Johns Lutheran

 

Church, near Littlestown, in the county of Adams,

 

and State of Pennsylvania; and also to Rev. M.

 

J. Allaman, of York, York county, and State of

 

Pennsylvania.

 

WHEREAS Elizabeth Catharine Erb, late of Car-

 

roll county, by her last will and testament, with

 

codicil annexed, bearing date the first day of Jan-

 

uary, eighteen hundred and seventy-five, and duly

admitted to probate and recorded in the office of

 

the Register of Wills of Carroll county, devised

 

and bequeathed to the vestry of St Johns Lutheran

 

Church, near Littlestown, in the county of Adams,
