SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said sanitary

 

officer so appointed for each locality by said county

 

commissioners shall have the general care of the

 

sanitary interest of the residents of Woodberry,

 

Towsontown, Waverly and their vicinities. They

 

shall make sanitary investigations and inquiries

 

respecting the cause of disease, and especially, epi-

 

demics, the causes of mortalities; they shall inquire

 

into and investigate all nuisance affecting the health
