Chapter 171.

 

AN ACT to repeal section one and section seven

 

of an act passed by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland at its January session, eighteen hun-

 

dred and eighty, chapter four hundred and forty-

 

three, entitled " An act to provide for the comple-

 

tion of Edmondson avenue in Baltimore county,"

 

and to re-enact the same with amendments.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That section one and section

 

seven of an act passed by the General Assembly of

Repealed and

Maryland at its January session, eighteen hundred

re-enacted .

and eighty, chapter four hundred and forty-three,

 

entitled " An act to provide for the completion of

 

Edmondson avenue in Baltimore county," be and

 

the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as

 

to read as follows :

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland. That John H. Fowler, Charles

 

G. W. Macgill and Elias Livezey are hereby ap-

pointed and constituted a board of examiners with

 

power hereby given to the County Commissioners

 

of Baltimore county; in case of refusal to act or

 

failure to perform the duties imposed by this act, or

 

in case of resignation or death of either of the said

 

examiners to fill such vacancy or vacancies, so as

 

always to constitute a board of three, a majority of

 

whom shall form a quorum for the performance of

 

the duties or transaction of the business hereinafter

 

required of them; and the said examiners, as soon

 

as practicable after the passage of this act, shall

 

meet at some convenient place, and before a justice

 

of the peace in and for Baltimore county, each of

 

them shall take an oath or make affirmation that he

 

will, in all respects as such examiner, act without
