Chapter 145.

 

AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General

 

Assembly to the bequests of Thomas Armstrong,

 

late of Baltimore city, deceased.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General

 

Assembly be and the same is hereby given to the

 

following bequests given under the last will and tes-

 

tament of Thomas Armstrong, late of Baltimore

 

city, deceased, said will being of record in the office
of the Register of Wills of Baltimore city : To the

 

Methodist Preachers' Aid Society of Baltimore city,

 

the sum of one thousand dollars; to the Society for

Sanction given

the Relief of the Poor of the Methodist Episcopal

to bequests.

Church of Baltimore city station, of the sum of one

 

thousand dollars; to the Asbury Sunday-school

 

Society of Baltimore, of the sum of one thousand

 

dollars; to the Sailors' City Bethel of Baltimore

 

city, of the sum of five hundred dollars; to the

 

Wesleyan Home Missionary Society of Baltimore

 

city, of the sum of five hundred dollars; and to the

 

Seamen's Union Bethel of Baltimore city, of the

 

sum of five hundred dollars.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
