Chapter 13.

AN ACT to repeal section six of chapter one hun-
|
 
|
dred and forty-three of the Acts of Assembly,
|
 
|
passed at the January session of eighteen hun-
|
 
|
dred and eighty, entitled " An Act for the Better
|
 
|
Protection of Partridges, Woodcock and Rabbits,
|
 
|
and to prevent Trespassing with Dog or Gun on
|
 
|
Private Property in Talbot county."
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That section six of chapter one
|
Repealed.
|
hundred and forty-three of the Acts of the General
|
 
|
Assembly, passed at January session, eighteen hun-
|
 
|
dred and eighty, be and the same is hereby repealed.
|
Effective.
|
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
 
|
effect from the date of its passage.
|
 
|

|
AN ACT supplementary to an Act of the General
|
 
|
Assembly of Maryland, passed in 1814, chapter
|
 
|
71, entitled "An Act to Incorporate a Company
|
 
|
to make a Turnpike Road from the square in the
|
 
|
town of Boonsboro, in Washington county, to
|
 
|
Swearingen's Ferry, on the Potomac river."
|
 
|
WHEREAS, under the acts of 1814, chapter 71,
|
 
|
entitled " An Act to Incorporate a Company to
|
 
|
make a Turnpike Road from the square in the town
|
 
|
of Boonsboro, in Washington county, to Swear-
|
Preamble.
|
ingen's Ferry, on the Potomac river," books of
|
 
|
subscription to the capital stock of the said com-
|
 
|
pany were opened, and subscriptions to said capital
|
 
|
stock were duly made and certificates of stock duly
|
 
|
issued by the president and managers; and where-
|
 
|
as the said company, so incorporated and organized,
|
 
|
did not, and never has completed its road to Swear-
|
 
|
ingen's Ferry, the western terminus named in the
|
|
