said act; and the stock of the said company, for

 

many years, was considered of no value, and in con -

 

sequence thereof the holders of said certificates of

 

stock became and were indifferent in preserving the

 

same, and transfers thereof were not made on the

 

books of the said company, by reason whereof it is

 

not known who are the bona fide owners of certain

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That the president, managers-

 

and company of the said Boonsboro Turnpike Road

sentation, if made within the time aforesaid, it shall

 

be the duty of the president, managers and com-

place the name of such person or persons on the
