Chapter 109.

 

AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General

 

Assembly to a bequest contained in the last will

 

and testament of Elizabeth Philips, late of Frede-

 

rick county, deceased, to the Methodist Protestant

 

church, of Woodsboro.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General

 

Assembly be and the same is hereby given to a be-

 

quest contained in the last will and testament of

Elizabeth Philips, late of Frederick county, de-

 

ceased, which last will and testament was duly

 

admitted to probate in the Orphans' Court of Frede-

 

rick county, said bequest being three hundred dollars

 

to the Methodist Protestant church of Woodsboro.

 

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to add an additional section to article

vide a punishment for the stealing of dogs.
