LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

hundred and seventy-four, entitled " An Act to in-

 

corporate Bel-Air, in Harford county," be and the

 

same is hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as

 

follows :

 

SECTION 4. And be it enacted, That all taxes shall

 

be fairly laid and shall not exceed fifty cents in every

 

one hundred dollars of taxable property in any one

 

year, and that the taxable basis of said property

 

shall be the same as that for county and State taxes ;
