SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That to obtain such

bounty, it shall be necessary for the person killing

scalp or bill, and the taking of said oath; and it

shall be the duty of the said justice of the peace to

destroy such scalp or bill so as to prevent a second

allowance for the same.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That upon the pro-

duction of such certificate, the County Commissioners
