92 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 25,

Mr. Hepbron presented the memorial of John B. Parrott
and 54 others, citizens of .Kent county, praying the passage
of an Act prohibiting splashing for fish in Turner's, Lloyd's,
Still Pond and Churn Creeks, in said county,

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Hepbron, Ford
and Lloyd.

Mr. Stevens presented the memorial of Wm. P. Maulsby,
John M. Brosius, C. H. Keefer and 276 others, citizens of
Frederick county and city, praying for the repeal of the At-
tachment Law of 1874,

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ju-
dicial Proceedings.

On motion by Mr. Getty,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Getty, Ford and Lawrence,
to introduce a bill to repeal an Act, chapter 506, of the Laws
of 1874, entitled an Act for the taxation of dogs, so far as
the same relates to Garrett county.

On motion by Mr. Lloyd,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Lloyd, Ford and Walsh, to
introduce a bill in reference to shooting wild fowl from sink-
boats.

On motion by Mr. Cooper,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Senators to intro-
duce a bill to regulate the sale of fire-wood in the City of
Baltimore.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add new sections
to Article 51 of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Justices of the Peace," relating to the liens of executions
issued by Justices of the Peace, passed March 30th, 1868,
chapter 443, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Also, by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 50
of Article 51 of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to Justices of the Peace, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Also, by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 19,
of Article 51 of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Mechanics' Lien," and to enact the following in lieu
thereof.
