Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller to
draw his warrant on the Treasurer, for a sum sufficient to re-
imburse Sprigg Harwood, for money erroneously paid into the
Treasury, and to direct said Sprigg Harwood to pay the same,
when so reimbursed, to the County School Commissioners of
Anne Arundel county,

Being upon its third reading,

Mr. Bannon submitted the following amendment :

Sec. 1, line 5, strike out the words "all the money," and
insert "$1,433.65."

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays as follows, with proposed amendment :

AFFIRMATIVE.
