Mr. Knight presented the memorial of Joseph A. Wilson,
contesting the election of Nathaniel Duke, Senator returned
for Calvert county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Elec-
tions, (hereafter to be appointed.)

On motion by Mr, Gorman, it was,

Ordered, That no printing whatever shall be done for the
Senate, (except the printing of the daily Journal,) until such
time as the Senate shall have contracted for the entire print-
ing to be done for this body.

Adopted.

The President presented to the Senate the Annual Report
of the Comptroller of the Treasury, with the following com-
munication :
