Third. Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Far-
mer's National Bank of Annapolis, to pay over to the heirs
of Samuel Gover, certain funds in said Bank due the said
Samuel Gover's real estate.

Which was read the second time and ordered to be engross-
ed for a third reading.

Mr. Stevens, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings, re-
ported un'avorably,

Senate bill to repeal Section 2, of chapter 504, of the Acts
of 1874, entitled "an Act to regulate the manufacture and
sale of oils for illuminating purposes," and to re-euact the
same with amendments.

Which was adopted.

Also, unfavorably,

House bill entitled an Act to add a Section to Art. 65, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Negligence," for
the purpose of regulating the proof and effect of negligence
in actions therefor under said Article, and at Common Law.

Mr. Dennis moved that said bill be substituted for the un-
favorable report.

Which was decided in the negative by yeas and nays as
follows:

ble report.

It was adopted.
Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to an
Act entitled an Act to repeal Article 26. of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, and to enact a substitute therefor, and to
repeal Section 22, of Article 16, Sections 99 to 103, of the
same Article, and Sections 33 to 43, of Art. 88, of the Code
of Public General Laws, passed at the January Session,
1868, chap. 471.
