BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 30th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to
this House for further consideration, Senate bill No. 303,
which was unfavorably reported upon by the Committee on
Claims of this House, and returned to your Honorable Body
on the 30th day of March, 1876.

Which was read.

Mr. Gorman submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

March 30th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message requesting the return to
your Honorable Body, Senate bill No 303, and have con-
curred therein, and herewith return the bill.

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

Mr. Walsh, from Committee on Finance, repoited favora-
bly the following bills.

First. House bill entitled an Act to authorize the building
of a new Tobacco Warehouse in the City of Baltimore, and
to appropriate money for said purpose, with the following
proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 3, line 10, alter word "Comptroller," insert, "and
authority is hereby given to the Supervisor of Warehouses,
that if it becomes necessary to have more room for the in-
spection of tobacco than is possessed, until the said new
warehouse is built, to rent some convenient and suitable
building, until the said new warehouse is completed for the
purposes of supplying such necessity."

Which was adopted.

Said bill as amended, was then lead the second time

Second. House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum
of money to pay Wm. T. Iglehart for work done for the
Executive Department, by direction of the late Governor
Groome.

Which was read the second time.
