county, State taxes erroneously paid into the Treasury, for
the year 1867, to the year 1870, inclusive, and also to au-
thorize the County Commissioners for said county to refund
county taxes erroneously paid.

No. 201. An Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Town of Church Hill, Queen Anne's county,
State of Maryland, Art. 17, and Sections 65, 66 and 67, of
the Code of Public Local Laws for Queen Anne's county, and
to re-enact the following.

No. 220. An Act to establish a free bridge over the Pa-
tapsco river, at or near the present site of Light street bridge,
and to provide for free travel from Anne Arundel county to
Baltimore city.

Mr. Lloyd, from Committee on Finance, (by unanimous
consent) reported favorably the following bills:

First. House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 231, of
the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to regulate the commissions
to be allowed Clerks of Courts for collecting and paying over
to the Treasury public money, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Second. Honse bill entitled aa Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claims of John T. Wiggins, Daniel Caulk,
Henry M. Tiralla, James E. Tate, Richard Tydings, John
H. Handy, David Leonard, George McLaughlin, Moses W.
Cornish, Medairy & Bowers and Wm. T Markland & Bro.

Which were read the second time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act making appropriations for the
support of the State Government, for the year, ending the
31st day of December, 1877, with the following proposed
amendments:

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

"Amend by increasing appropriation to State Vaccine
Agent to $1,400."

"For rent of box in Safe Deposit Company, for the use of
the officers of the Treasury Department $100."

Which were adopted.

Also,

"For the support of the Maryland Hospital for the Insane
$25,000."

Which was rejected.

Also,

"For the support of the House of Correction $25,000."
