The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the Public Print-
ing for the General Assembly of Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Printing.

House bill entitled an Act for the Prevention of Intemper-
ance amongst the Young Men of Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay Jethro McCauley, late Collector of State taxes in the
third district of Cecil county, the amount overpaid by him
into the Treasury.
