BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 29th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate ;

We respectfully inform you that we have non-concurred in
the amendments to the House bill No. 111, entitled "an Act
for the protection of Sheep Husbandry,'' and respectfully re-
quest that you will recede therefrom.

Which was read, and,

On motion by Mr. Steiner.

Said bill was referred to the Committee on Agriculture
House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, of chapter
388, of the Acts of 1874, entitled "an Act for the protection
of young fish in the waters of Elk River and Northeast River
and their tributaries, within the limits of Cecil county, and
re-enact the same with amendments,"

Was read the third time and passed by yeas find nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Lawrence,
Bannon, Lloyd,
Brewer, McCulloh,
Duke, Mudd,
Dennis, Newcomer,
Freeman, Steiner,
Gorman, Suit—14.

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
The President announced the order of the day to be
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact Sections
2, 3, 8 and 15, of the Acts of 1874, chapter 233, entitled "an
Act to establish the Maryland House of Correction, and to
add additional Sections thereto,"
Being upon its second reading,

Mr. Joyce moved to postpone the further consideration of
said bill until Monday, April 3rd, at 3 o'clock.

Which was decided in the affirmative by yeas and nays as
follows:

Duke, McCulloh,
Dennis, Newcomer,
