On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The vote by which said bill failed to receive a Constitu-
tional majority,
Was reconsidered.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The further consideration of said bill, was indefinitely
postponed.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 58 of Article
57, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Pleadings,
Practice and Process," sub-title "Practice," and to re-enact
the same with amendments,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.
Messrs. President, Joyce,

Aydelotte, Lawrence.
Brewer, Lloyd,
Duke, McCulloh,
Dennis, Newcomer,
Freeman, Stevens,
Getty, Walsh—13.
Humphreys,

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
Mr, Walsh, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to protect persons traveling on
the highways in Harford, Cecil, Howard, Washington, Balti-
more, Frederick and Montgomery counties, where the same
crostes any railroad track.

Which was read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act making judgment of Justices
of the Peace in Garrett county, liens on real and leasehold
property,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as

follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Aydelotte, Humphreys,

Brewer, Lawrence,
