The Senate proceeded to the consideration of bills under

The President announced the special order of business to be

The House bill entitled an Act for the protection of Sheep
Husbandry.

Which was read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays as follows with proposed amendments :

The rules were suspended so as to grant leave to Messrs.
Ford, Getty and Lawrence, to introduce a bill entitled an
Act to repeal Section 79 of Art. 17, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's," sub-title "Crier," and
re-enact the same with amendments,
