790 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 28,

McCulloh, Mudd, Newcomer, Phelps, Stevens, Steiner, Suit,
Walsh—20.

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of bills under the
call.

Mr. Phelps, from Select Committee, repotted favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, and add
additional Sections to 11 and 12, to chap. 437, of the Acts of
1874, in relation to catching oysters with dredge, scoop or
scrape in the waters of the Choptank river, and to amend
and re-enact the same giving; additional privileges to tong-
men

Which was read the second time.

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the sale of seats in
theatres, concert or lecture halls, and other places of public
entertainrnent,

Being upon its third reading,
On motion by Mr. Stevens.

Was recommitted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings.

House bill entitled an Act to prevent the taking of crabs
in the waters of Somerset county, by non-residents of said
county for sale.

On motion by Mr. Dennis,

Was taken up and reference changed from Select Commit-
tee to Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

Senate bill entitled a» Act to repeal chapter 64, of the
Acts ol 1864, entitled an Act to repeal the 107th Section of
Article 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws for Allegany
county, relating to the Superintendent of the National Road,
as required by the Act of 1862, chapter 176, and to re-enact
the same with amendments, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
