Being upon its second read,
On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Was ordered to be printed.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to
an Act entitled an Act to repeal Art. 26, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, and to enact a substitute therefor, and to
repeal Sec. 22 of Art. 16, Secs. 99 to 103 of the same Art.,
and Secs. 33 to 43 of Art. 88 of the Code of Public General
Laws, passed at the January Session, 1868, chap. 471,

Being upon its second reading.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Was ordered to be printed.

Mr. Ford, of Queen Anne's county, gave notice to the Sen-
ate, that on to-morrow, he will move to suspend the opera-
tion of the 25th Rule of the Senate.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 460 of Art. 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title "Live Stock," and to re-enact the same with an
amendment,

Being upon its second reading,
On motion by Mr. Joyce,

Was ordered to lie over and be made the order of the day
for Wednesday, March 29th, at 1 o'clock.

The following Senate bills were read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading :

Senate bill entitled an Act to form a new Election District
out of portions of the Third, Fifth and Sixth Election Dis-
tricts of Garrett county.

Senate hill entitled an Act making judgments of Justices
of the Peace in Garrett county, liens on real and leasehold
property.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec 17 of Art. 10, of
the Code of Public General Laws, and to re-enact the same
with an amendment.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 38 of Art, 75, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Pleadings, Prac-
tice and Process," sub-title "Practice," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Mr. Brewer, from Select Committee, (by unanimouas con-
sent,) reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act for the protection of Sheep Hus-
tandry,

Being upon its second reading,

Mr. Lee submitted the following amendment:
