House bill entitled an Act to prevent the taking of crabs in
the waters of Somerset county, by non-residents of said county
for sale.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Den-
nis, Humphreys and Aydelotte.

House bill entitled an Act to protect oysters in the waters
of Dorchester county, and to prohibit the taking thereof in
the months of June, July and August of each year.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Phelps, Aydelotte and Cooper.

Also, returned,

Senate Joint Resolutions in relation to furnishing official
publications to the Maryland Historical Society.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Tuckahoe
Bridge Company.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to the Vestry of St.
Michael's Parish, Talbot county, a sum of money erroneously
paid into the Treasury.

Endorsed. "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Alicia Winder, of
Talbot county, State taxes erroneously paid into the Treas-
ury , and to authorize the County Commissioners for said
county, to refund county taxes erroneously paid.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Mr. Duke presented the memorial of Benjamin Harrison,
John W. Lyons, and 48 others, citizens of Calvert county,
praying for a law to protect fish in the Patuxent river.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Humphreys presented the memorial of sundry citizens
of Sharptown, Wicomico county, praying the passage of an
Act submitting the question of incorporating said town to
the citizens thereof.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Humphreys, Dennis and Aydelotte.

Mr. Dennis presented the memorial of Daniel Webster,
and 50 others, citizens of Hungary Neck District, of Somerset
county, praying the passage of an Act requiring the owners
