Senate bill entitled an Act to appoint a commission of three
persons to meet a like number of persons appointed by the
State of West Virginia to settle and adjust the boundary line
between Presi/on county, West Virginia, and Garrett county.

Being upon its second reading,

Mr. Getty submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Sec. 2, line 3, after ''dollars," add the words "per day."
Which was adopted.
Mr. McCulloh submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Sec. 1, line 2, strike out all after the word "that" to the
word "on," in 5th line, and insert "the Governor is hereby
authorized and empowered to appoint three persons Commis-
sioners."

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The following bills were read the second time and ordered

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 3, of chap. 215,.
of the Acts of 1856, entitled an Act to authorize the build-
ing of a bridge over the Patapsco river, at Ferry Bar, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Senate bill entitled an Act to require the stationery pur-
chased for the use of the Library, Senate and House of Dele-
gates, to be contracted for by the Comptroller, Treasurer and
Librarian.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the collection and
preservation of statistics of crime and pauperism in the
State.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 95, of the
Code of Public General Laws, by adding an additional Sec-
tion thereto.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chap. 59, of the Acts
