House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 786, of Art 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws relating to "Baltimore City,"

sub-title "Orphans' Court," and to re-enact the same with
amendments, and to add a new Section thereto, to be known
as Section 786, A.

Which was adopted.

And, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 136, of Art.

93, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Testementary
Law," sub-title "Distribution," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

Which was read the second time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to add new Sections to Art. 10,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Attachments,"

-and to be sub-title "Claimants of Property."
With the following proposed amendments:
Section 16, line 3, after the word "Security," insert "or

securities residents of this State."

Which was adopted.

Said bill as amended was then read the second time. ,

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact chapter
279, of the Acts of 1870, relating to "Landlord and Tenant."

With the following proposed amendments:

Section 2, strike out the words "Anne Arundel,',

Strike out the words "Bankruptcy or."

Which were adopted.
Said bill as amended was then read the second time.

Mr. Knight, from Committee on Finance, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 459, 464,

469, of Art. 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled

"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Livestock," and to re-enact

'the same with amendments, with the following proposed

amendants:

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 2, line 5, strike out "thirty," and insert "ten."

Line 7, after word "for," strike out "or according to."

Page 2, at the end of line 21 add: "The erection of addi-
tional scales, or any alteration in the arrangement of the
pens, yards, alleys or appurtenances thereof, which the pub-
lic accommodation may require, may be made by the Weigh-
