AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Add to Section 1: "To I. Nevitt Steele fifty-three dollars
for printing, paid in suits of State vs. B. & O. R. R.; and to
John Murphy & Co., one hundred and ten dollars and seven-
ty-five cents, for printing briefs, in suits of State vs. B. & O.
R. R."

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then read the third time and parsed by yeas
and nays as follows, with proposed amendments:

Said bill was then retunred to the House of Delegates.
The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared, and deliv-
ered the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 4, of chapter
274, of the Acts of 1860, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike Company, and to enact a
substitute therefor.

Which was read the first time and referred to Committee
on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the regulation of
the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in Cecil county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Honse bill entitled an Act to regulate the sale of seats in
Theatres, Concerts or Lecture Halls and ether places of public
entertainment.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to refund to Zadok Marshall,
late Collector of Worcester county, the sum of $75.22, by
him heretofore paid in to the Treasury.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize Benjamin Lank-
ford to erect and keep a gate across a county road in Somer-
set county.
