The question recurring upon the adoption of the order.

It was adopted.

Mr. Stevens, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings, re-
ported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 6, of Article
€9, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Officers," to
regulate the publication by the Comptroller of defaulters to
the State.

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Add at the end of the Section, "but no defaulter whose
accounts have remained unsettled for over five years, shall be
advertised."

Which was adopted.

Said bill as amended was then read the second time.

Mr. McCulloh, from Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Frostburg Water Company, incorporated by the Acts ot
1853, chapter 330.

Which was read the second time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1872, chap.
152, entitled an Act to amend the Act of March Session, 1865,
chap. 147, by substituting certain Sections for the 2d und 3d
Sections of said Act, and providing fur the reduction or the
number of Directors, and for the holding of the meetings of
said Company in the City of Philadelphia with the follow-
ing proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED

Line 5 of title, insert after the word "forty-seven," the
words "entitled an Act to incorporate the Empire Coal Com-
pany of Allegany county."

Which was adopted.

Soid bill as amended was then read the second time.

Mr. Knight, from Committee on Chesapeake Bay and its
Tributaries, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments chapter 219 of the Acts of 1874, which was an
Act regulating the right of fishing in the Patuxent river and
its Tributaries.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Lloyd, from Committee on Finance, repored favorably,
