No. 138 An Act authorizing and directing the State
Librarian to furnish from the Siate Library for the use of
the Circuit Court for Wicomico county, a full set of the
decisions of the Court of Appeals, and of the Acts of As-
sembly, and other books.

No. 139. An Act to provide for the payment of a sum of
money to I. Nevitt Steele, Philip F. Thomas and S. Teaekle
Wallis, for professional services rendered the State in the
prosecution of its claims against the Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad Company.

Mr. Stevens, (by unanimous consent,) presented the
memorial of Thomas H. Moore, late Weigher of Live Stock.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance

On motion by Mr. Steiner,

The Senate at 3 P. M. took a recess until S P. M,

NIGHT SESSION.

WEDNESDAY, March 22d, 1876.
Senate met at 8 P. M.
Present at roil call the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Aydelotte, Bannon, Brewer, Cooper,
Duke, Dennis, Freeman, Ford, Gortnan, Hepbron, Hum-
phreys, Joyce, Knight, Lee, Lawrence, Lloyd, McCul-
loh, Mudd, Newcomer, Phelps, Stevens, Steiner, Suit,
Walsh—25.

The iSenate proceeded to the consideration of bills under
the call.

On motion by Mr. Gorman, (the rules were suspended,)
so as to take up

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal to repeal an Act
passed at January Session, 1874, entitled an Act to repeal

an Act passed at January Session, 1870, relating to the Reg-
istration of Voters, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments; and each and all the Sections of Art. —, title "Regis-
tration," sub-title "Voters," "Citizenship," and "Payment
of Registration Officers," of the Code of Public General Laws,
and to enact the following in lieu thereof, under the Article,

and title "Registration of Voters."
