We have appointed the following members on the part of
the House as managers—Messrs. Gill, Robinson and Naill.

Also, the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, to issue city stock, for the purpose of
redeeming the five million loan, known as "Baltimore Water
Stock," redeemable at pleasure, on and after the 1st day of
May, 1875, and to provide for the payment of all taxes, State,
Federal or otherwise, to which said stock or the interest
thereon may be liable, and to reduce the rate of interest on
the indebtedness of the said city.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more City Senators.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the State Librarian,
to supply to the Librarian of Congress, and the Library Com-
pany of the Baltimore Bar, such copies of the reports, laws,
journals and documents of the State of Maryland, of which
he may have duplicates, as can be spared from the State Li-
brary, not to exceed in any case two copies of such volume.

Which was read the first time and refeired to the Com-
mittee on the Library.

House bill entitled an Act to add a sub-Section, to be known

as "Sub-Section 2," to Section 10 of Art. 56, of the Code of

Public General Laws.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section to
Art. 26, of the Code of Public General Laws, as amended
and passed at the January Session of 1868, chapter 471.

Which was read the first time and refeired to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1864, ch.
346, the Act of 1865, ch. 194, the Act of 1867, ch. 368, the
Act of 1868, ch. 128, the Act of 1872, chs. 36 and 228, and
the Act of 1874, ch. 394, relating to the Inspection of To-
bacco and Tobacco Warehouses, and enact in lieu thereof the
following.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also, returned the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for cleaning out the
harbor and basin and docks of the City of Baltimore, and for
the permanent removal of the causes, whereby the waters of
