House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Allegany county to levy a tax on dogs in said
county,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Bannon, McCulloh,
Brewer, Mudd,
Duke, Newcomer,
Dennis, Phelps,
Freeman, Steiner,
Getty, Suit—16.

NEGATIVE—Mr. Stevens—1.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Gorman, from the Committee on Finance, (by unani-
mous consent,) reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal chap. 390, of the Acts
of 1867, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
county, relating to the sale of spirituous and fermented
liquors to minors, in the City of Annapolis, and within five
miles thereof, and to re-enact the with amendments, Sec-
tion 55.

Which was read the second time, and,

On motion by Mr. Bannon,
Was ordered to be printed.

Also, by Mr. Gorman, (by unanimous consent,) unfavora-
bly,

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the liquor traffic,
and prevent intemperance in Calvert county.

On motion by Mr. Duke,

Said bill was substituted for the unfavorable report, by
yeas and nays as follows:
