Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 32, line 2, strike out "two" and insert "five;" and
after the word "six," in said line, insert "which shall be in
full for room rent, clerk hire, stationery, and all other ex-
penses."

Line 3, strikeout "and an annual salary of one hundred
and fifty," and insert "the same salary annually which shall
be in full as aforesaid."
Which were adopted.
Also, by Mr. Stevens,
"Strike out Section 34."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Humphreys submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Add to end of Section 3, "provided this Act shall not ap-
ply to Wicomico county."

Mr. Suit submitted the following amendment to the amend-
ment :
Insert after "Wicomico" "Prince George's," "Charges."

Pending the consideration of the amendment.

On motion by Mr. Gorman,"

The Senate, at 3 P. M. took a recess until 8 P. M.
