enact the following in lieu thereof.

Senate bill entitled an Act to lepeal, amend and re-enact
ch. 352 of the Acts of 1868, entitled an Act, to add an addi-
tional Section to Article 42, of the Code of Public General
Laws, empowering the Governor to remove insane convicts
confined in the Penitentiary, and provide for their support
in some suitable institution within the State.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Gorman, from the Committee on Elections, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. G5 of Art. 35, of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Elections," and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Steiner, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners cf Frederick county, to fund certain
indebtedness of the Board of County School Commissioners
of Frederick county, by issuing bonds therefor, and to levy a
tax for the payment of the same.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Phelps, from Select Committee, reported unfavorably,

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the number of Tax
Collection Districts in Dorchester county, and to abolish the
office of County Treasurer in said county.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Joyce, from Select Committee, appointed to investi-
gate alleged abuses in the administration of the office of State
Weigher of Live Stock, submitted the following Report:

Finance, and ordered to be printed.

Mr. Aydelotte, from Select Committee, reported favorably
