Senate bill entitled an Art to add a new Section to Article
26, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Corpora-
tions so as to provide a more summary remedy against com-
panies incorporated by the State, with authority to transport
persons or property for hire.

Mr. Lee presented the memorial of L. A. J. Lamotte and
others, praying that Mrs. Rachel Roach, widow of Caleb
Roach, a soldier of the war of 1812, be placed upon the pen-
sion list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Suit presented the memorial of John L. Garner, Wm.
A. Gates, Wm. M. West and 60 others, citizens of Prince
George's county, against the sale of intoxicating liquors in.
the State.
