County School Commissioners of Talbot county, a portion of
a vacant public lot in the town of Oxford, for the purpose of
erecting thereon a public school house.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Lawrence, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the repairs of the
public roads of St. Mary's county.

With the following proposed amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Sec. 2, line 4, strike out all to the word "by.''

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.
On motion by Mr. Phelps,

The rules were suspended so as to take up

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section' 9 of Article
28, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the pub-
lication of county expenses, so far as the same relates to
Dorchester county, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Which was read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays as follows, with proposed amendments :
