Mr. Stevens, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings, re-
ported favorably, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional Sectidn to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of the City of
Baltimore, sub-title "Taxes and Loans," as sub-section 873
A.

Which was read the first time.

House bill entitled an Act to prevent in St. Mary's county,
the removal or improper disposition of property that has
been levied upon.

House bill entitled an Act to empower Joshua Wisner, Sr.
and Mary Ann Simpers, bis step-daughter, both of Carroll
county, to marry each the other, and to legitimize the chil-
dren .

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Frid, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Queen Anne's county, to levy a sum of money
as a pension for Samuel Tate of said county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Suit, from Select Committee, reported favorably.

House bill entitled an Act to change the name of Glenville,
in Prince George's county, to Glendale.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Walsh, from Select Committee, reported favorably the
following bills :

First. House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Register
of Wills for Harford county, to continue the index or key to
guardians accounts in his office, from 1845 to the present
time, and continue the same thereafter, and to authorize the
County Commissioners to provide compensation therefor.

Which was read the second time.

Second. House bill entitled an Act to amend Section 135
of Art. 12, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Har-
ford county," sub-title "Sheriff," as amended by chapter 24,
Act of 1874.

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

14th line, after the word "forty," insert the word "five,"

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then lead the second time.

Mr. Lloyd, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
