House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland
Tubing Transportation Company. ,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal chap. 423, of the Acts
of 1874, entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 20, of Art. 28, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "County Commission-
ers," sub-title "Roads," and to re-enact the same with
amendments, so far as the same appleis to Washington
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Newcomer, Freeman and Duke.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize George L. Michael,
of Garrett county, to erect the gates on the public road, in
said county, leading through the farm of the said G-eorge
L. Michael.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Getty, Ford and Lawrence.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Register of
Wills for Harford county, to continue the index or key to
guardians' accounts, in his office, from 1845 to the present

time, and continue the same thereafter, aud to authorize the
County Commissioners to provide compensation therefor.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Walsh, Lloyd and Lee.

Also, returned,

Senate bill entitled an Act granting additional powers to

the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chap. 456, of the Acts
of 1874, entitled an Act to provide for the better protection
of birds in Garrett county, and to re-enact the same with

amendments.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed
at January Session, 1852, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Santa Clara Mining Association of Baltimore, authorizing
said association to make and enforce payment of all calls or
