House bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-enact
Section 4, of chapter 85, of the Acts of 1854, entitled an
Act to incorporate a company to erect a bridge over the
Patuxent river, between Anne Arundel and Prince George's
counties.

Which was read the second time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to amend and alter the charter
of the City of Annapolis.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Ban-
non, Hepbron and Dennis.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 10, of chapter
505, of the incorporation Act passed at the January Session,
1874, and to enact the following in lieu thereof.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Lloyd, Walsh and Lee.

House bill entitled an Act to amend Section 135, of Ar-
ticle 12, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Harford
County," sub-title "Sheriff," as amended by chapter 24, Act
of 1874.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Walsh, Lloyd and Lee.

House bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to-
Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Wash-
ington County," sub-title "County Commissioners," to be
numbered from Section 87 A, to Section 87 T, inclusive.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Newcomer, Freeman and Duke.

House bill entitled an Act to empower Joshua Wisner,
Sr., and Mary Ann Simpers, his step-daughter, both of Car-
roll county, to marry each other, and to legitimize their chil-
dren.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 30, of chap. 44,
of the Acts of 1864, entitled a supplement to the Act en-
titled an Act to incorporate the Frederick and Emmitts-
