Which. was read the secoud time.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the President and
Commissioners of the town of Elkton, to issue bonds for the
purpose of raising money to build a Fire Engine House.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Getty, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act for the protection of fish in the
waters of Garrett county.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Aydelotte, from Select Committee, reported favorably
the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Worcester county to erect and maintain a bridge
over Ayer's creek in said county, and to levy a sum of money
sufficient therefor.

House bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of
Worcester county to determine by ballot whether spirituous
or fermented liquors shall not be sold in said county, or shall
be sold as only hereinafter described, and to repeal all Acts
inconsistent herewith.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Cooper, from Select Committee, reported unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to improve the sanitary condi-
tion of Baltimore city, and to incorporate the Baltimore city
Abattoir Company..

Mr. Suit moved to substitute said bill for the unfavorable
report.

Which was decided in the affirmative by yeas and nays as
follows :

Said bill was ordered to lie over and be made the order of
