On motion by Mr. Suit,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to report
a bill regulating the sale of intoxicating liquors in Prince
George's county.
On motion by Mr. Brewer,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 28 of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "County Commissioners,"
sub-title "Meridian Line Standard," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to revive and continue the
Act to incorporate the Humane Impartial Society and Aged
Women's Home, passed at December session, A. D. 1849,
chapter 33 and its several supplements and also the Acts to
which it is supplementary.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 107,
108, 109, 110, 111 and 112 of an Act passed January session,
1874, chapter 483, entitled an Act to repeal Article 81 of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Revenue and Taxes,''
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act granting additional powers
to the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore
On motion by Mr. Dennis,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Dennis, Humphreys and
Aydelotte to report a bill to extend the building line in the
harbor of Crisfield, on the North side of the town, into deeper
water.
On motion by Mr. Gorman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to add additional sections to Article 81 of the
Code of Public General Laws entitled "Revenue and Taxes,"
providing for the assessment of property in this State here-
tofore or hereafter omitted to be assessed, and for the collec-
tion of the State taxes payable or which may be payable
thereon.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,
Leave was granted the Baltimore City Senators, to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the establishment of
a Zoological Collection in the City of Baltimore.
