On motion by Mr. Walsh,

Was referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Stock Ex-
change of the City of Baltimore

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Town Commis-
sioners of Bel Air, or the Treasurer of said town to receive
and receipt for certain moneys, &c.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Walsh, Lloyd and Lee.

House bill entitled an Act to protect persons traveling on
the highways in Harford, Cecil, Howard, Washington, Bal-
timore, Frederick and Montgomery counties, where the same
cross any railroad track.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Gorman, Newcomer and Walsh.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-enact
Section 4 of ch. 85, of the Acts of 1854, entitled an Act to
incorporate a Company to erect a bridge over the Patuxent
river, between Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Ban-
non, Suit and Hepbron.

House bill entitled an Act making further appropriations
for the support of the Government and Schools, and Reform-
atory Institutions, for the year ending the 31st day of De-
cember, 1876.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Consolidated Copper Company of Baltimore City, by empow-
ering said Company to hold and dispose of lands suited to
the purposes of its incorporation.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Sharpsburg
Savings' Institution.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act to give the sanction of the Gen-
eral Assembly to the several bequests in the will of Rezin
Hammond, late of Anne Arundel county, deceased, to the
Brooklyn Methodist Protestant Church and Parsonage in-
