Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to establish a free bridge be-
tween Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties, over the Patap-
sco River, on or near the present site of Sweitzer's Bridge.

Which was, read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Baltimore city and Anne Arundel county

House bill entitled an Act to provide for an additional Con-
stable in districts Nos. 2 and S, of Calvert county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Duke,
Freeman and Newcomer.

House bill entitled an Act to encourage the killing of hawks,
big owls, foxes and weasels in the counties of Charles and
Calvert.

Which qas read the first time ,«nd referred to Messrs.
Mudd, Duke and Newcomer.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 46, of Article
10, of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to the town of
Cambridge in Dorchester county, as amended by chapter 175,
of the Acts of 1872, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Phelps, Aydelotte and Cooper.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 82, 83, 84 and
85, of the Public Lucal Laws of Caroline county, sub-title
"Fence," so far as it relates to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dis-
tricts.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs
Lloyd, McCulloh and Walsh.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland
State Grange of Patrons of Husbandry.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

to incorporate the Humane Impartial Society and Aged
Women's Home.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Washington county, to fund certain indebted-
